How work load impact on occupational stress?.
Work load can be recorded as the maximum capacity of the
machine or any employee which they can bear up in the delivery of the desired
outcome. The workload needed to have clear definition in job specification in
each employee in order to have the clear understanding on the outcome required
in the respective time
Occupational stress can be recorded as the psychological
stress in the working place which is caused due to many reasons. There are
different disadvantages in the occupations stress and it is very important to
avoided these to have the satisfactory outcome in the organization
It is very important to understand the relationship between
the workload and the occupational stress and the management of employees in
better direction needs the identification of these applications. Along with
this fact, it ca be seen that the occupational stress can be caused due to the
higher level of workload in the organizations
Disadvantages of higher workload;
Ø Dissatisfaction of the employees
Ø Reduction of the motivation of the
employees
Ø Occupational stress
Ø Resulting absenteeism in the
organization
Ø Resulting higher turnover
Ø Errors and wrong applications
Ø Wastages of resources
Ø Reduction of the efficiency of
employees
Ø Reduction of the overall
organizational outcome
With these applications, it is very clear that the workload
is resulting in the disadvantages in the organization which it includes the
organizational stress as well.
As there are many works to be completed and the time
allocated is lesser, individual employees in the organizations can get stress
and it is resulting in different negative outcomes. Organizational stress is
not a proper outcome and it can be resulting in many negative results for
organization as well as for the employees
Conclusion
Employees have a limit in bearing and the work allocation
needed to meet the limit rather than exceeding it. When the limit of the
bearing is exceeded, the stress can be occurred. This is exactly what is
undertaking in the organizations where occupational stress is facing by the
employees. There are many reasons for the occupational stress while the
workload is a main reason. Thus, there is a higher interaction among workload
and occupational stress. In order to avoid these, proper management in workload
is required in the operations.
